Karachi, October 2025 — Austin School of Technology (PIMSAT), Karachi, hosted an engaging Orientation Session for the Sino-Pak 2+1 CCTE Dual Diploma Programme, marking the beginning of an exciting academic and professional journey for the students.
The session introduced students and parents to the unique structure and benefits of the Dual Diploma Programme, a collaborative educational initiative between Austin School of Technology – PIMSAT Karachi and Yunnan Land and Resource Technical College, Kunming, China.
Under this innovative “2+1” model, students will complete the first two years of academic study and technical training in Austin School of Technology in PIMSAT Karachi, followed by the third year in Kunming, China, under a scholarship arrangement. This international exposure allows students to gain both Pakistani and Chinese diplomas, providing a competitive edge in the global job market.
During the orientation, speakers highlighted the extensive career opportunities available to graduates. Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be eligible for 100% guaranteed employment in Chinese industrial and infrastructure projects, both within Pakistan and abroad.
Representatives from the institution and Tang International Education emphasized that the Sino-Pak 2+1 CCTE Dual Diploma Programme aims to strengthen academic collaboration between Pakistan and China while equipping Pakistani youth with globally recognized technical skills.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students expressed enthusiasm about studying in an international environment and contributing to ongoing Sino-Pak development initiatives under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
